Changes to the check API and the WordPress plugin, newest first.

WordPress plugin 2.1.0

  • New: Mark as Not Spam. Put a Forminator submission that was saved as spam back to a normal submission, from the expanded submission under Forminator › Submissions. Nothing is sent and no email goes out.

WordPress plugin 2.0.1

  • Waits up to 5 seconds for an answer, so fewer messages go through unchecked when we are busy.

API v1

  • One endpoint, POST /v1/check, for comments and form submissions. Send source and fields.
  • Every answer has detection_id, status, spam_probability from 0 to 1 and is_spam.
  • An Idempotency-Key header is required, so a repeated request is answered and counted once.
  • GET /v1/verify checks a key and shows your plan and usage.
  • When your plan limit is reached, the answer is 429 quota_exhausted.
